The TCR South America confirmed the 2022 calendar
Buenos Aires (Argentina), April 21, 2022 – A few days before the start of the second race of the second season of TCR South America, the category confirmed the dates and circuits it will visit in 2022.
The first three appointments, which had been announced at the beginning of the year, will be in Brazil. After passing through Velocitta (Mogi Guaçu) in the first days of April, the TCR South America will continue in Interlagos (São Paulo), the weekend of April 29 and 30 and May 1. This race will be in Endurance format with two drivers per car. The last one on Brazilian soil will be in Goiânia (Goias), on June 4 and 5.
After Brazil, there will be two stages in Uruguay that will repeat the same scenarios that the category visited in the inaugural season. On July 16 and 17, the race will start at the Eduardo P. Cabrera Race Track (Rivera) and on August 6 and 7, the appointment will be at the Víctor Borrat Fabini (El Pinar). On both races, the TCR South America will share the stage with the Super Turismo Uruguayo.
The end of the 2022 calendar will feature three events in Argentina. With the intention of racing in the most important circuits in the country, the category will arrive at Termas de Rio Hondo (Santiago del Estero) on the weekend of August 26, 27 and 28. Taking advantage of the qualities of the Santiago racetrack, the second race will be in Endurance format with two drivers per car.
The last two of the year will be at the Autodromo Oscar and Juan Gálvez (Buenos Aires), on September 17 and 18, and the coronation grand prize at the San Juan Villicum Circuit (San Juan), on October 8 and 9.
